How this result is defined
Percent of public All Students assessment results at Meets Grade Level or above, rounded to whole percentages by TEA. Includes the accountability mix of STAAR, STAAR Alternate 2, eligible English Learner performance measures and accelerated testers' SAT/ACT results. Campus accountability enrollment rules apply. The denominator counts assessments, not unique students.
Campus aggregate across tested grades and courses; not a grade-specific or school-wide enrollment proficiency rate.
States use different tests and proficiency standards. Do not rank these percentages across states. All-grade results also mix grades. These reported outcomes describe the source cohort; they are not an overall school-quality score or proof of attendance eligibility.
Before choosing an address
School attendance zones can cross city and ZIP boundaries. Confirm assignment, enrollment rules and current programs with the district. A school’s location in a town does not mean every home in the town is eligible.
