Age distribution
40,815 people
Share of all residents, including people in group quarters. Hidden groups keep the same population denominator.
Renting & ownership
18,026 occupied housing units
Share of occupied housing units. This does not describe people, vacant homes or current listings. Hidden groups keep the same housing denominator.
Sources and calculation method
Published integer estimates; margins of error not supplied. Age percentages calculated from published counts; tenure percentages transcribed. Source-published component counts can differ from the denominator by one.
How to read this evidence
BrytaLocals transcribes the City of Houston’s January 2026 super-neighborhood tables by exact published number and name. The source identifies ACS 2020–2024. Income, home value and rent medians are held until the publisher’s current aggregation method is verified. An older city source explicitly averaged component medians, which cannot establish a neighborhood median. Age percentages are calculated from published integer counts; under-18 combines the under-5 and 5–17 counts. Tenure percentages are copied from the publisher. Some source-published integer groups differ from their published denominator by one; values are preserved rather than forced to reconcile. The publisher does not supply margins of error or a complete aggregation method in these tables. Race/ethnicity charts remain unconnected because this table does not explicitly document whether its race labels exclude Hispanic residents.
Area boundaries do not establish school attendance, a property’s local jurisdiction or a household’s experience. Check the specific address with the responsible agency.
