on E coast of Evans I., NW shore of Sawmill Bay, 17 mi. S of Chenega, Chugach Mts. sec 27,T1S,R8E,Seward Meridian
Fishing village reported in 1943 by US@C&GS. A post office was established here in 1952 (Ricks, 1965, p. 53).
