population 39, mile 209.3 on The Alaska Railroad, 17 mi. S of Talkeetna, Cook Inlet Low.
This place originated as a railroad construction camp and was so named in 1919 by the builders. Homesteaders settled here in fall of 1957. a3 distributary of South Fork Big River, flows E to Redoubt Bay, 28 mi. W of Kenai, Cook Inlet Low. a4 603815N1520430W
