Selection method & city data notice

Selected issued Chicago food/drink and liquor license records whose term had begun and had not expired on the snapshot date. Retail food records additionally require a recorded dining, prepared-food-sale or drink-sale activity. Records are grouped by exact city owner-account and site number with consistent premises address; this identifies a licensed location, not necessarily a single brand. Names and license categories are retained separately. No opening-hours, operating-status, public-access or quality claim is inferred. Home, general-business, mobile, event and owner/contact records are outside this selected source scope. Current searches exclude locations whose recorded license terms have all ended; a later closure or renewal may not yet be in this snapshot.
