# Cleveland neighborhood boundaries — ODbL 1.0 Contains information from [City of Cleveland — Cleveland Neighborhoods](https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=b2a2da54401a41e78dd71563f01f5273), made available under the [Open Database License (ODbL)1.0](https://opendatacommons.org/licenses/odbl/1-0/). The accompanying `cleveland-normalized.geojson.gz` is BrytaLocals’ derived boundary database, offered under ODbL 1.0. Original source metadata and source export remain alongside this file. `normalize-boundaries.py` records the transformation: output CRS 4326 requested from source; exact names used as identifiers because SPA codes are duplicated/blank; invalid rings repaired only when relative polygon-area change is at most 1 e-7; geometry retained at full precision. Original source attributes remain in `sourceProperties`. If subsequent display simplification or additional boundary fields change this derivative, publish the resulting derivative or the complete additional transformation method. Retain this notice and license link with the download and on the associated map/profile. No additional restrictions apply to this ODbL component. Independently sourced Census and school databases retain their own provenance and terms; no statistical allocation has been derived from these boundaries. ODbL§4.5(a) keeps share-alike on this component when it is part of a collection of independent databases. §§4.2–4.4 require notices/share-alike; §4.6 requires a free machine-readable derivative or complete alteration method. This is a source-contract implementation assessment based on the linked license, not a claim that arbitrary merged or spatially derived statistics would remain independent. Display derivative: source identity normalization and topology-preserving simplification at 0.00004 degrees, retaining full geometry if area change exceeds 0.5%. This download matches the map geometry. Census and school observations are independent databases and are not included.
